Program Features

Personalized, 1-on-1 mentoring
Get matched with a vetted and trained industry mentor based on your values, interests, and career and skills development goals. You’ll meet with your mentor 1-3 hours every month where they’ll support you with support, advice, insight, and accountability.

Community building & networking
Our monthly cohort meetings help you build a strong, supportive bond with industry peers, while connections with your 1-on-1 mentor and access to our entire mentor community allow you to expand your connections with experienced professionals.

Monthly Leadership Development Workshops
Access Career School, our monthly, virtual leadership & career development workshops to help you gain important skills, knowledge, and support from your fellow mentees.

Time Commitment:
Pre-Program Activities
30-45 minutes of self-assessments (CliftonStrengths & True Colors)
90-minute virtual mentee training & self-assessments debrief (January 23, 3-4:30pm MST)
60-minute virtual program launch party (January 29, 4-5pm MST)
Program Activities: 1-4 hours/month
1-2 hours of meetings with your mentor monthly
75-minute interactive Career School workshops monthly

Guidepost is designed for outdoor professionals navigating a transition point . We know this doesn’t look the same for everyone, but might look like someone in a new role, new industry or sector, new to management, seeking their next move, or thinking about making a transition soon.

Our mission of providing easy, equitable access to mentorship involves working to radically reduce barriers to participation. While our programs are priced competitively, we know that cost can present significant challenges, especially for individuals whose companies can’t or won’t sponsor their participation.
